Being avid coffee drinkers ourselves, we believe the palette for coffee is unique to every individual. While some may luck out and chance upon their life changing cup of kopi in this lifetime, many of us aren’t that fortunate. Why not take things into your own hands to create YOUR kopi recipe and own it for life?

We think we’ve got it – that aromatic cup of kopi which will give you that warm fuzzy feeling every morning, energized and ready to take on whatever comes your way. It’s simple! The trick lies in understanding the concept of the “Kopi Base”, maybe better understood as the local version of the all-familiar espresso that powers our cappuccino and lattes!

Formally introducing to you, the Kopi Base (or more affectionately known as Kopi O Kosong Di Lo). This is the essence of kopi, that raw goodness extracted from our kopi hoon – 100% organic, locally roasted blend of Robusta and Arabica, steeped in hot water and filtered through the sock. Needless to say, this is the most crucial step; master this with our step-by-step instructions and you’re well on your way to creating your personal best!

Once your Kopi Base is ready, subsequent addition of water, condensed/evaporated milk, or sugar will get you the local variants such as the kopi-o, kopi-c etc. For a start, standard recipes for your local kopi variants will be provided and we’ll be here to guide you through the entire process on how to taste and tweak your kopi recipe!
